Celebrating the Brilliance of Black Women in the Tampa Bay Community March 3, 2012
The red carpet was rolled out (literally) foran evening of elegance and live entertainment to recognize Black GIRLS (Gifted, Influential, Renowned, Ladies Showcased) whoRock! Hosted by Ms. Erica Riggins of BayNews 9, the excitement was felt through three live musical performances with accompaniment by a live band.
The 20 women who were honored have worked tirelessly in the Tampa Bay Community, representing five categories: Business, Health & Wellness, Religious, Civic, and Education. From each category, one woman was the recipient of the 2012 BGR Award! Black Business owners and Vendors were present to showcase their products. We hope to see you next year for our second annual Black GIRLS Rock Award Show! Save the Date.......March 2, 2013
