The GLORY Community Development Corporation is pleased to announce its First Annual Lion's Heart Scholarship Gala, which will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. at the Cathedral Conference Center in Tampa Florida.
We invite you to join us for an exciting evening of elegance, featuring celebrity guests, a silent auction, dining, and dancing against the backdrop of a live band and local entertainment. This highly anticipated event not only facilitates the building of lasting relationships for the GLORY CDC, but also provides the needed financial support for one of our signature academic programs, the "Mattie G. Anderson Scholarship " which awards numerous scholarships to high school seniors of Hillsborough County and to undergraduate students attending the University of South Florida.
We are grateful to those who have supported the Mattie G. Anderson Scholarship the past three years. Because of companies like yours and individuals like you, we have raised over $2,500 to support the educational dreams of students from our community. Your support has also enabled countless young people (many of whom are first generation college students) to achieve their educational aspirations and enhance their quality of life.
